By Car: Scenic Route from Glasgow
Take the M8 north west and cross the Erskine Bridge via the M898. Continue on the A82 to Crianlarich. Continue on the A82 towards Fort William through Tyndrum. Go through Fort William towards Spean Bridge and Invergarry. At Invergarry turn left onto the A87 then at Cluanie Dam turn left continuing on the A87 towards Kyle of Lochalsh & Skye. Apartment One is situated on the A87 right next to the world famous Eilean Donan Castle. If you are travelling from Fort William to Kyle of Lochalsh or Skye, you can't miss us on your left hand side immediately after passing over the causeway next to the castle.
By Car: Direct Route from Glasgow
Take the M73, M80, M9 to A9 all the way to Dalwhinnie. Continue on the A889 to Laggan then take the A86 to Spean Bridge. Take a right on to the A82 though Invergarry, at Invergarry turn left onto the A87 then at Cluanie Dam turn left continuing on the A87 towards Kyle of Lochalsh & Skye. Apartment One is situated on the A87 right next to the world famous Eilean Donan Castle. If you are travelling from Fort William to Kyle of Lochalsh or Skye, you can't miss us on your left hand side immediately after passing over the causeway next to the castle.
By Rail
The local railway station is Kyle of Lochalsh - 9 miles from Apartment One. Cars can be hired from near to the station and also there are several local taxi services.
By Bus
Buses from Fort William, Glasgow and Inverness stop by Eilean Donan Castle which is 5 minutes' walk over the causeway to Apartment One. Please visit Citylink for timetables.
By Air
The nearest airport is Inverness. There are bus links to Dornie, and train links to Kyle of Lochalsh, from Inverness, but also car rental from the airport.
